Never blame the people lied to, blame the liars.
Blaming the victims is against conservative values.
So is lying. So is huge deficit spending. So is cracking down on personal rights, privacy and civil liberties. So is selling out to the religious right. Goldwater was against the religious right. He knew them too well. They cannot be trusted. And some of them are just plain nuts.
