Get your portfolio in before the close! Subject 56177 Our new round starts with an entry cut-off on July 3rd and runs through November 17th. Proficient investors - and others - believing they can beat our current elite (!) team are welcome to join and should contact Elroy by June 30 or latest by July 3 no later than 7am EDST. Latecomers can join us at any time against a small penalty, see rule 6- below Portfolio Rules: 1- The game goes from July 3rd (Monday) through November 17th (Friday), approx. four months. Your initial picks must be in before 7am EDST June 30th (Friday) or latest before 7am EDST July 3rd (Monday) and will be valued at their June 30th or July 3th closing price, your choice at the date of your pick. The game is off and running from market close on July 3rd. 2- You start with $100, and get to buy stocks on June 30 or July 3rd and also the last weekend of each month. You pay 1% commission on sells, buys are free. You can sell a stock any day as long as your order is in same day before market closes, and you get the closing price of same day. 3- Stocks have to be US listed and trade on either Nasdaq or NYSE, no pinko sheets. 4- You only get to invest long in equities (no shorts, no options), but you can sit in cash if you want to. 5- Max 50% of the initial total portfolio (incl. any cash position) on June 30 or July 3 at most in any single stock (new rule) 6- You can also join in the middle of a game, but your starting capital will be equal to the same day closing value of the person in last place minus $1. Post your picks during a trading day, and you buy your stock picks on their closing prices that day.
