Chris Matthews on Steven Colbert was remarkably candid. He was asked if Bush could recover or the war could be won.
The answers no and no.

The graph you show is like a stock chart. While there are little recovery tickets, the general direction is continuing down. And remember, if Dems had subpoena powers they would be uncovering all kinds of big corruption which hasn't come out yet. So this is all without any Democratic investigations.
