A trillion bucks in deficit spending this year, pal. Remember when Bush promised to cut the deficits in half? He lied. He doubled them instead. Any reckless idiot can create growth by putting a trillion bucks on the credit card. And wars are always growth drivers. But ask yourself this, who pays for this later? It's not a tax cut it's a tax deferrment, a debt, with lots of interest later. Or else you lose your Social Security and Medicare. Take your pick. Plus energy and health care costs double. And education goes up 50%. Are you any better off than five years ago? Only 19% of Americans say they are. And some of those are ignorant or duped. A whopping majority say they are worse off. The mega-millionaires of course are all taken care of. Bush-cheney love them. Anything they want they can have. Because they're in the club.
