Yellowback Demorats

The Party of Cut-and-Run (from Principle)

By ROGER BURBACH and PAUL CANTOR

The Bush Administration has it right. The Demoratic Party is the party of cut and run. It used to be the party where progressives could find a home. No longer. Cut and run has turned it into the party that stands for total disarray, desertion of core values, or nothing at all.

Quit attacking democrats. You never change your tune. Is it not enough that Kerry, Murtha and others are taking heavy fire from the rightwing smear machine for their brave stands to try and end the war? What do you want them to do, sing "Kumbya"?

I thought your hero was Feingold. If so, he's partners with Kerry now on the end-the-war effort. So support them. Support Murtha too. And don't worry about Hillary Clinton. If she runs for president she won't win the nomination anyway. Besides, she's for ending the war now too. She just doesn't want to admit it.

Remember, Ralph Nader was as responsible as anyone for putting Bush in power. Nader told some big lies in 2000. Leftwingers can lie too, you know. And Nader did when he told us there was no difference between Gore and Bush.
