I got out of Rydex Weakening Dollar some time ago. I decided to opportunistically trade currency futures and let my physical gold/silver holdings act as a u.s. dollar hedge.

Yes, I think the Rydex Weakening Dollar has the same issue. A 200% inverse fund is continually buying high and selling low....a wonderful feature in a downward trending market but a real performance killer in a choppy market.
