It is simply hypocritical to advocate that everyone follow rules that the speaker is not willing to follow. Of that there is no wiggle room.

If you wish to advocate for higher taxes, then show us how good they are by paying the rates you advocate. If enough people do that it will be easy to raise the tax rates because so few people would be affected.
