Murtha will go down in history as a great American hero who stood up to a very corrupt White House and helped save the lives of thousands of Americans by shaming the Bushies into ending the war sooner rather than later. Like Kerry, Murtha is both a combat hero and a peace-making hero. Murtha is also a bedrock honest conservative with no liberal credentials whatsoever. So the rightwing's smear campaign against him is just as ridiculous and disgusting as the one they waged against McCain in 2000. Bushies will smear anyone who disagrees with them, even George Washington and Jesus christ. Anyone.
