it remains to be seen how far this rally can go. I think it's way premature to say we're headed higher for the next 9 months.

I'm thinking more like higher until mid-July and a sell the news reaction to earnings reports.

There's always a chance that this can be a pop then drop too.

We need a lot more money coming into the market to push things higher.

It can't all be short covering.

Launch pad might start at an October bottom. I doubt a 6 week scare after the recent uninterrupted run from the fall 2005 bottom is all we see.

First we have another leg down after topping out IMHO. Will we go up to mid July or as late as Labor Day?

Price action the rest of this year will tell us to what extent the housing downturn takes down the real economy. Time will tell
