<<Hypothetical ED's have been yakked about endlessly around here, including by me.>>

..and by ME...LOL

<< I think its pointless to discuss them until we are into a putative (v)..>>

FYI. IMHO, and FWIW..that's precisely where I have us (in the SPX).. June low completed (iv ) down, of 5 up, from the 2002 low.....We have now launched.. from the Jun low.. the final (v) up, of 5 up, from the 2002 low.......and, I THINK, 5 up, taking ED form...

BUT...having said all that.....STRONGLY share your conclusion that <<:Playing classic TA set-ups on individual issues is serving me better.>>

<<How about BBI for a mini launch here?>>

Interesting find, Shack.....and certainly going into my watch list.......but I need a volume breakout first...gg

"yakking"? Xcuse me, sir, but we are doing some mighty serious analyses down here... -g.

LOL.

Anyway, focusing on indices works for me. After a while I already have a sense of how they like to play... the instruments are liquid... they don't often (hmm...) move 3% a day, but I'm in no hurry... -g/ng
