"You are then arguing for the principal that all possible ideas, including contradictory ones, exist at the same time. This basicly boils down to the concept that nothing at all is new or can possibly be new. Everything that ever was or will be is already in place."

Yes and no. You are stuck on an issue of location in time, I am not. You are concerned about whether or not you have control of the facts, I am not.

I don't claim that all ideas are already in place, nor that they are not. Early on you used the words discover and rediscover but after my inquiries you have backed away from that terminology. These are good words but for some reason, possibly ego you have abandoned them.

All ideas are available given the proper resources to become aware of them. So do they all exist or not? If they are available to they exist 'someplace' for our discovery or not. My answer is a resounding double yes. Yes they do exist and yes they do not exist. Awareness is like a flashlight of reality that can be focused on things and once we do, we discover that those things actually exist. Does that mean that they did not exist prior to our awareness of them... yes and no.
