You know, it is hard to think of many Democrats of today that are worthy of the mantle of a Truman, or even a JFK....

Reagan was a Dem, and turned Repub.

Certainly there must be some, but it's hard to think of who they might be right off the bat, other than Liberman.

And just so anyone thinks I am NOT biased totally, it is hard to think of many Repubs I really admire. Bush Jr is one of them. Jeb is doing a good job. Gov Perry in Texas is doing a good job from everything I can see or read.

I pay attention every time Guilani speaks....and like him a lot.

It would be interesting here to see who people admire politically, on both sides of the fence. My guess is that we won't have a long list, from either side.
