I dream.

Yes, you do, my dear.

But that's alright, as long as they aren't nightmares.

Well said, Euterpe...in fact, all of your posts on this are very well written. I honestly do think a lot of the trouble we are having politically, is the Left has such far out Left mouthpieces. Discounting Buchanan and Falwell, who speak for themselves, and a not large group of evangelicals, who on the Repub side of the aisle are as far over on the right as the Left is on the left?

Honestly, give me a hand here, because I can't think of who on the Right in current leadership position is that far over.

Everyone seems to think they are in the Center. Heheheh. We can see that's not true in a second. Even here on SI. SO, knowing there is a center someplace, (North and South Pole with an imaginary line from north to south perhaps) we can gage where we think we personally are, then apply that to where we think others are. It would be easy if all issues had the same weight. They don't. Most of us vary on all sorts of issues. And we should. Many issues shouldn't be "Left or Right" issues or causes.

Maybe we should give some thought as to "WHY" they seem to have become political issues.
