I think you are missing the point.

Much of the mainstream media continues to support the essentials of the Bush program.

The problem goes way beyond beyond Bush the man. The REAL PROBLEM ia that so many in the upper echelons of the power structure are either outright Bushies or Bush lite.

Bush would have been impeached long ago without this support from much of the corporate and financial elite.
