I thinks it's a stealth rightwing dictatorship thing. Under the guise of counter-terrorism, they are trying to destroy all of their domestic enemies, including the watchdogs of our civil liberties and guardians of truth, democracy and justice. They may not push the dictatorship right away, but it's probably the longrange goal. One party rightwing corporate dictatorship with so-called "Christians" as the foot soldiers. The problem is, it's all completely un-American and un-Christian. In fact it's just plain crooked.
