<We do need to be discussing global warming and taking it seriously though, don't you think?> I think we need to be discussing the entire global eco-system (or whatever you want to call it) seriously... including deforestation, pollution, population control, etc etc. My worry about the emphasis on global warming is that it's a lighting rod for the over the top worry warts, and so it automatically creates naysayers among those who have seen this all before. It also takes money and resources away form a more comprehensive plan... I certainly think all the money going to putting a guy on Mars should be going to understand ourselves and our planet... and all the other systems in between. DAK
