Does butcher Bush deserve anyone’s accolades to celebrate his birthday, July 6? VHeadline.com commentarist Mary MacElveen writes: I find it repugnant when I receive an email from Ken Mehlman, the chair of Republican National Committee asking me “Please help the Republican National Committee celebrate a very special birthday on July 6.” He then asks, “Join Republicans from across the country in wishing president Bush a Happy Birthday” by sending a virtual birthday card to him. I will not provide the link to this virtual birthday card to wish a butcher a happy birthday as so many have lost their lives throughout his regime and under his orders. Mehlman goes onto say “This is a milestone birthday for the president, and I know he will appreciate receiving warm wishes from loyal grassroots activists like you.” Can a ‘Godless’ monster have the ability to appreciate these warm wishes? Some may say that I am being a bit rough here ... but after seeing the endless images of those whose lives have been cut short by Bush, I stand by my opinion of Bush. In a previoust VHeadline.com piece, I wrote of Bush’s inability to feel anything if as alleged by the National Enquirer in a past piece that he is actively drinking. I know this subject well since I am in recovery and have been so for over eighteen years. As we keep being bombarded by his tyranny, there have been times that I wish I could have a good stiff one, but I refuse to surrender my sobriety. To show further evidence of Bush’s butchery, this page is the very proof you need to see. If you have children, they are not to view this page. Upon opening up this page, you will see a picture of a soldier whose face was blown off while serving in this ‘Godless’ war. You will see pictures of other soldiers whose lives have been cut short. They will never get to celebrate another birthday. You will also see pictures of dead and injured Iraqi children and will the dead ones be able to celebrate another birthday? In yet another VHeadline.com article, I showed more evidence of the death and destruction brought upon an innocent country in Iraq by this sociopath named Bush. Contained within my article I wrote “On June 2, 2005, Buzzflash.com sent out a video feed of a bombed out Fallujah ... images are reminiscent of World War II. You will see images of bodies being dug out from these bombed-out buildings and placed in body bags ... and I am damn angry that our media refuses to show such images. These were human beings and this was done in our name. One body showed what appeared to be a picture of this man's little girl which was found in his pocket. After viewing it, I am angry, sickened and tears were streaming from my face.” Can a ‘Godless’ Bush fully appreciate the death and destruction that he brought upon an innocent people? Does he deserve anyone’s accolades and warm wishes to help him celebrate his upcoming birthday? What he does deserve is our collective condemnation. No, this is NOT a case of Bush-bashing, but letting the evidence speak for itself. I hope that if you are currently a supporter of Bush that you will have the temerity to look at these images to see what your president did and did based upon lies. Do you want more evidence of why Bush does not deserve to celebrate his upcoming birthday, then this is the video that you must watch. It is called The Hidden Massacre and chronicles our use of white phosphorus in Fallujah. It was produced by RAI (an Italian news media organization). Lastly, Ken Mehlman has the audacity to ask of grass roots supporters for donations of “$60 or whatever you can afford ... $25, $50, or even $100 ... to become an RNC Sustaining Member today. Your generous donation will help the RNC promote the president's bold agenda and elect more Republicans in the 2006 mid-term elections.” After viewing the evidence in this piece of Bush’s butchery, and should you have extra money floating about, the only moral thing you can do is to put that money to work to end this tyranny. If it is donating to progressive Democrats that seek to end this ungodly war, then do it. If it is to donate to organizations such as IVAW (Iraq War Veterans against the War), then do that also. These brave men in that organization saw first hand of Bush’s carnage and seek to enlighten people and to end this tyranny and we must listen to them. When the late President John F. Kennedy asked of us, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” I took that as a challenge and we must rise to that challenge by telling all through any donation made to various anti war candidates and organizations that we are up to this challenge.
