The UN are boy scouts compared to Cheney's crooked bunch. Cheney put his own company Halliburton (with a long history of corruption and ripping off the tax-payers) and his crooked crony Chalabi in charge of the Iraqi oilfields and look at the results. Where are the tens of billions of Iraqi oil revenues Limbaugh-Hannity promised us would pay for the war? And that was before Bush's big oil pals doubled the price of oil. Why is something like 20 billion missing in Iraq? Why is there no accountability and oversight as to how the 500 billion or so we've already thrown away over there has gone? The UN was thoroughly investigated by Paul Volcker's team and came out fairly clean. At fault were the same type corrupt middlemen Bushies deal with in the Middle East. Remember Iran-Contra? Remember the Iranian and Saudi arms dealer middlemen we used to transfer TOW missiles to Iran? Remember the Dubai Ports deal which Bush just snuck past the radar and closed,m handing over 22 of our ports to the Arabs? This is all very big corrupt stuff. Far bigger than anythhing anyone at the UN has ever even been accused of. UN middlemen were only guilty of skimming commissions. Halliburton skims everything it touches in Iraq, legally. So what's the diff? The Halliburton corruption is much-much bigger. Like 20 times as big.
