CIA analysts concluded Bin Laden wants Bush as president. When OBL sent a Bush-bashing tape out right before the election last year it gave the superficial impression terrorists fear Bush. But just the opposite. Osama loves Bush. The CIA analysts that day (this from a radio report I heard) were 100% unanimous saying "boy has Osama just given Bush a boost". And they also believe Osama is smart and calculating about how these tapes of his affect US politics. Indeed, what Osama wants is for the US to invade Iraq and ovvupy it, steal the oil, then beligerently stay in their "holy land" so they can have an all-out fight on their own turf where even our wonderfully equipped troops are at a disadvantage. This also makes many of Osama's kooky old predictions come true and makes him look like a prophet. Kerry, on the other hand, would have redeployed out of Iraq by now, going after real terrorists instead in pin-poin t surgical strikes and Al Qaida either be dead or would have the Iraqi people to answer to.
