"Math was thought to be the model of the creation, and now it seems it does model reality." Exactly. The universe contains kind. The universe contains number. For that matter, it contains movement...and many other things. We only compare and interpret what is there. Parts to whole--whole to parts. It is a bit hard to know it without having the languages for it (logic, mathematics, etc.) Primitive tribes still ask for extra logs for the fire with "MORE". We count our fingers. Big deal. We have learned to divide "more" into "parts". What is important is that mathematics is a language that interprets the universe. The universe does not interpret mathematics. Back to the football game where yardage is pretty important. Maybe I will pour a jigger as well.
