There are many straight Republicans. Particularly on the far right, there also seem to be dozens of closeted gays. Right up at the top too, from Karl Rove on down.

You were unable to name one prominent Republican you think isn't gay? Instead, you added Abe Lincoln to your list of closeted gay Republicans. You are truly a joke. Hey........there are any number of allegations that Lincoln slept in the same bed with his security guy on a regular basis. Now it may be they were just good buds but then again, it could have been bareback white house. It doesn't matter to me.......he was a great president no matter his sexual persuasion. It seems unfortunate that that's the topic you all seem to want to discuss with AS. You come sniffing around here like dogs in heat.

Rove also tried to smear Kerry with "gay" hues, all total BS claims, but Rove ran lies through Drudge (who is gay and who Rove uses a lot) that Kerry got a $150 haircut and Botox (deliberately switching Kerry and his wife?), and that he was "French" (again, Theresa was raised in Madagascar where they speak French). Trying to make him sound like some effete vain snob when actually GW Bush is much more elitist than Kerry, though he's largely ignorant about foreign affairs. Kerry was not born with money. It was Bush who was born with old money and used his rich kid status to dodge the war, unlike Kerry who went into combat and proved his mettle. Ironically, Rove himself is very much rumored to be gay, a closet case of course, and actually "married" to Grover Norquist. His pick for RNC chief Ken Mehlman is also rumored to be gay, though he started denying it.
