"All I can remember is Tero ... said GSM and WCDMA would win"

That's ridiculously selective . Do you not recall, for instance, the extremity of his personal attacks on Irwin Jacobs? You might want to review the arguments with Gregg Powers, who had the knowledge and intellect to bury Tero in his own disinformation. Qualcomm was worth $3 billion at the time. The company and its technology has not exactly lost, has it.

none of us should have a problem if you buy nok.. this is an investment thread. we should be able to hear both sides of why our money should be in qcom. i have been a qcom holder for a decade or more now. i also bought some mrvl and brcm. both now under water.. nothing compared to qcom holdings but trying to make enough to pay the rent. gg

this india thing is upsetting, it is a flash back to the old days . i keep feeling every feels they need qcom tech and research etc. and are trying to bury qcom to cut their costs anyway they can. It does look like india is throwing qcom out, will china be next?

All I can remember from them Tero days is that he said GSM and WCDMA would win

My recollection was that Tero mostly talked about how GSM, GPRS and EDGE would win, not that WCDMA would win.
