Saudi Arabia might have a worse human rights record than Israel, except for the fact that Israel has been treating the Palestinians as subhuman, second class residents for over 34 years.

I'm not aware of Saudi Arabia having a similar problem. Saudi Arabia has severe problems with it's treatment of women. It beheads and chops appendages off people as a part of it's "justice" system.

I'd rather live in Israel than Saudi Arabia, but I wouldn't voluntarily even GO to either place. Our President seems to love them equally. I think both places suck.

I know what he said. He just said that Israel's human rights record is worse than Saudi Arabia.

? No he didn't, at least not in the posts under discussion. Go back and reread the series of posts. It was about Gitmo and whether the detainees would get treated OK if they were sent to other countries.

You're the first one to bring up a comparison with Israel.
