The charities benefit by getting more money. Buffett doesn't increase his wealth by these actions. His only benefit is the satisfaction of seeing money go to the charities, some of which would have gone to the US government. How you think this contains any class warfare is beyond me. The people that the Gates foundation help are the poorest proletarians of the earth.
