Curiously, I don't see anyone on the vocal right bemoaning Bush's failure to ensconce conservatism as the governing majority going forward, or debating how they can get the movement back on track. In between the constant chorus of liberal bashing, there is sniping at Bush and threats to pick up their toys and go home in November, but that is just self-destructive bile. You would almost think the conservative majority machine was ticking over just fine, judging by the rhetoric. But it isn't. The light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train, and screaming "Lefty liberal wimps!" for the next six months isn't going to change that. Massive denial going on.
