The tabloids have higher journalistic standards than most of the rightwing "news sites, for instance the RNC itself, Drudge, Hannity, Newsmax, CNS, Worldnetdaily, Coulter, Limbaugh, Ny Sun, Smearvets For Truth, etc. All much less credible than the tabloids who actually fear libel suits if they get something wrong. Rightwingers invite libel suits. Mellon-Scaife will handle the legal bills.

Basically, any site that claimed the smearvets claims were true, that (after 2003) claimed Saddam had Al Qaida contacts and WMD, that Abramoff gave money to democrats or that Bush's illegal domestic spying is lawful, is totally full of it, and intentionally lie. They all know they're putting out blatant lies and disinformation, and they're proud of it.

So you deny the Bush-Rice, Tammy-Bush sex stories? You know for a fact they're untrue? Any evidence to prove the people who put out those stories are liars? Remember, tabloids are apolitical. They report Clinton's dalliances all the time, and they're probably right most of the time.

The only politically biased tabloid is Rupert Murdoch's in England. That rag put out the phony story about Kerry sleeping with an intern. Drudge broke the "story" which turned out to be 100% fabricated nonsense.
