Absolutely, it's especially obvious when you consider how many rapes, murders and assaults occur in our prison system. If the N.Y. Times, CNN or any other news organization spent one tenth the energy publicizing "atrocities" in our prison system as they do the extremely few events which have occurred in the military, they might have a leg to stand on when it came to balanced coverage. It's obvious to anyone with half-a-brain what the motivation is. And only demonstrates a deep-seated hatred of the military, which runs especially high in elite circles of academia and the upper class who rarely have any interaction with military personnel.
