Are you of the party that argues George handed his legacy over the Cheney, Addington, and Rumsfeld and can't get it back?

Not exactly. I think George relied on people in ways that didn't work out very well, for whatever reasons. Mostly about Iraq, and the treatment of terrorists, including Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo.

I think most of the country is doing just fine, but not Iraq.

I think George isn't very thrilled with the people who failed him, but once you get on the back of the tiger, it's hard to get off.

I think he's disgusted by Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo and all the rest of that horror show, but he's still listening to the people who give him bad advice.

And because he's still listening to the people who gave him bad advice, he's now culpable.

But Cheney's got all that under his control, for better or worse. Who could replace him? And how?
