Asteroid concerns are silly. Global warming is not. Knowing the difference defines a wise person.

Statistically, chances are near zero of being hit by an asteroid of any size in the next couple of thousand years.

The only real threat to mankind equaling global warming is nuclear war or some biological pandemic, artificial or otherwise. Or worldwide tyranny.

There is a real world out there (more or less-lol) and we had better start living in it if we hope to survive as a species.
