<<Shouldn't (1) be a wave 3 if it follows a 2 down!?>>

No, David.....Remember, I characterized this scenario as "uber-bullish"..LOL

That red (1) is PART of a 3 up.......but only the FIRST part....Before that 3 you mention can be shown on the chart we would first have to add....on the right of the chart...red (2 )down, (3) up, (4) down, and (5) up.......and THEN we can label that point a big white 3...

Lots of time available for all that.....I'm thinking that the much-anticipated 4-year cycle down may not get started until the end of 2006......(and guess I should post something on THAT bright idea!....but no more time today)

Henricus Bovinicus..gg

.<<....I'm thinking that the much-anticipated 4-year cycle down may not get started until the end of 2006.....>>

......and following up on that bright idea...

Took a look at two of the last three 4-year cycle drops.....the two bull market cycles of 1994-5 and 1998.....leaving aside the bear market cycle ending 2002, because of its different, unusual circumstances,,

1994-5: ..3 months from high Jan 1994 to low April 1994.
................13 month from high Jan 1994 to new high Feb 1995.
1998: ......3 months from high Jul 1998 to low Oct 1998......
................5 months from high Jul 1998 to new high Dec 1998.....
1994-1998: 4 years 6 mos. from beginning 1994 cycle Jan 1994 to beginning 1998 cycle Jul 1998...
.....................4 years 6 mos. from low 1994 cycle April 1994 to low 1998 cycle Oct 1998...

Sooo....cutting directly through all that...

Taking Sept 2002 as the most recent 4-year cycle low, and adding a constant 4 years 6 mos. will take us to an anticipated March 2007 cycle low....

And...taking into account a constant 3 months from cycle high to cycle low would lead us to anticipate a December 2006 cycle high......(PLENTY of time to work our way up to new highs in the broad indexes..!!)

(May try to put this in graphic form and post....probably not today, though, as 4th festivities getting underway before too long.........a propos of which, David....and SNS.......hope you join the spirit of the day ......and don't be too hard on me when you come back with your rebuttals..LOL)
