Hawk...I thought we had pretty good people on the asteroid thing. Good people? Yes... Sufficient funding? No... Credible defense plan? Not even close... And with everyone proclaiming global warming "doomsday" scenarios, no one is paying an particular attention to the "rabbit punch" that potentially lies in wait for us. Thus, unfortunately, it's probably going to require a major strike somewhere on the planet before people and politicians finally include it in their priorities. All we can hope is that when it does occur (and history indicates that it inevitably will) is that it won't be a planet killer. Hawk
