RV campers....
Reminds me of my days asa park ranger on the coast in Calif. The park dept. in Santa Barbara was neo nazi even then(Reagan was Gov.). Any cops that stayed were untouchable...even when shooting their guns wildly about with the park full as they let off steam in a drunken rage. But some punk surfer cranks his music and policy was to kick them out and send them out to the main hi-way 15 miles away where the boss would have the CIA...whoops...CHP waiting to roll them up for DUI.

Anyway, every summer the local Elks would roll in white trash style and party for a week. Bunch of middle aged assholes chugging half gallons of hard liquor like I've never seen before. One night they had the polka music so loud the boss couldn't sleep and he sent me down to bust it up. We ended up with a casual riot; my temp Mexican park assistant had to pull me(literally!) out of the mob of drunks to save me from getting severely beaten at the least. Needless to say, the polka music continued. My boss didn't have the guts to use the only phone in the park(in his house) to call the cops...knowing the Elks are untouchable being very connected in the right wing gestapo faction of SB County.

The next day I was written up by my boss at the insistence of the outraged Elks group.

I see you answered my question already. Interesting... As more people "need" to use their parking lots, the police will come out more and more frequently. Reminds me of something John Steinbeck wrote...
