Or maybe rates will simply do what they always do.Eventually invert and that will mark the top in rates.

my guess is the markets pull a fast one this fall and we see the dollar rise, long rates decline, gold down, stocks up....how is that for a wild guess?

It's never what you know that kills you, it is always something else..... forget housing, it won't come from there, it will be something else......

Blow up tend to happen very quickly and are rarely predicted and the events slow to play out. Disruptions happen quickly and take everyone by shock.....
