"Not only to the abrogations of the administration in ignoring the Congress and the Constitution but putting all the press with a few exceptions into a lump of anti American." Yup; and that in and of itself is anti-American. "Does it bother any of you who post here..." Not at all; I just have stayed drunk for the last 6 years :>)

Terribly wrong for when we fail to recognize possibilities that we as a Nation might be wrong and continue to believe that the message is wrong we are in trouble. Apparently, there exists a sub-set of people for whom any criticism of the US, no matter how well documented and/or justified, is perceived as America bashing. To them, America is Mommy and nobody better talk bad about her. And when the criticism comes from one of those traitorous, lying liberals, well, they just hate America anyway, now don't they?

Intelligence officials said the realignment reflects a view that al-Qaida is no longer as hierarchical as it once was, as well as a growing concern about al-Qaida-inspired groups that have begun carrying out attacks independent of bin Laden and his top deputy, Ayman al-Zawahiri. Agency officials said that tracking bin Laden and his deputies remained a high priority, and that the decision to disband the unit was not a sign that the effort had slackened.
