So the WSJ version was correct and the NYT version was wrong?

Why do you think that it is OK for Bush to operate secretly?

They deny public mourning of the dead soldiers by stealing in their bodybags. They deny the public honor and celebration of those who die protecting our freedoms.

They detest the public from scrutinizing their actions and movements and those that do are branded traitors. Only crooks like the oil and defence lobbies are let in on the WH secrets.

There is certainly a serious problem with this WH.

LOL As if Bush's government ever gives the press "correct details" about anything. They're purely in the business of manipulating the information we receive. Look at the whole Kudith Miller case and all the journalists they've bribed to lie to the public. Then all the Exxon lobbyists who change the wording of their environmental data press releases.

Bushies want to cover up anything critical of them and exaggerate and boast about even the most minor success. And if they have no successes, they will fabricate one.

One example was the Libya disarming story. That is pure cockypoop. Libya didn't have any real WMD. And they hadn't been a terrorist threat in 15 years. They've been desperately trying to lift snactions against themselves. Bushies did it no questions asked so long as Libya gave them a big oil deal, and pretended to disarm themselves, as if they were scared Bush was going top invade them. It was all BS, honey. And this is the government you trust?
