Perhaps not old enough to have experienced the fear before MAS kicked in. I grew up with duck-and-cover and bomb shelters.

and that same concept may not apply to muslim religious fanatics.

I take your point. OTOH, the fanatics don't have hundreds of them on missles pointed at us.

I don't see why the "The Sword of Damocles" can't hang over some Arab capitals or Mecca if it ever comes to that.

I'll bet we find a sudden streak of rational adversaries then.

But the West is too neutered I guess. Until we lose a major city or massive numbers to an attack.
