Well, very few Americans actually know enough to take exception at the "facts" the right wingers throw at them. Yesterday I was watching "Who Wants to be a Millionaire." They had an engaged couple on and both had to agree on an answer. Both were graduates of Notre Dame, which, from what I've read, is an accredited university. They were asked, in the duel between Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton, who was killed? The multiple guess answers were A. Neither. B. Both. C. Burr. D. Hamilton. They didn't know. They burned a lifeline to get rid of two wrong answers, and all that was left was Hamilton or Both. Finally they took a guess and said Hamilton. They won $100,000. I couldn't believe 2 college graduates, putting their heads together, would not know this as a layup question.
