JHF - neither you or i have a clue what is in these agreements. Maybe there is an interpretation issue (since the korean times was quoting the ministry of info and telecoms). How do I know?

All I know is that the Koreans have a better bargaining position over Qualcomm now that there are fewer CDMA handset vendors. Imagine the consequences if Samsung and LG both suggested they were considering whether or not to continue exporting CDMA200 products because they could not make enough margin. Like it or not, Qualcomm need the Koreans more than ever and Samsung/LG are well aware of this.
