But the problem is that's another way to say nothing will be done. Your "problem" is my "eureka." I think it's a sure thing that nothing will be done, at least nothing significant. So the "problem" IMO is dwelling on a pipe dream. I think it's a terrific step forward, a breakthrough, to acknowledge that nothing will be done. Once we have digested that, gone through all the stages of grief, and only then can we get cracking. As I understand the Gore argument, that's what he is trying to do. I agree. Where you and I disagree is that I think he's going about it all wrong and is thus contributing to the problem, not the solution.
