I wouldn't do that on purpose. Not to say it couldn't happen by mistake but in that case I would excuse myself. In particular discussing in writing has advantages. Even worse than people putting quotes in mouths of those who never said them are those, who clearly say something today, and when reminded of their follies tomorrow never said that... Not too many such people - I'm not in politics - but since they are consistent you can always count on them and their "pragmatism". I have had enough to do which such a business "partner" for years.
