fireworks in my old city used to be at the football stadium until a strong wind blew the explosives back into the stadium and almost set dozens of people on fire.

after that they moved to the ocean on a barge.

One year here they set up the fireworks on a barge in the harbor. Something when wrong and the entire lot went up at the same time. Lasted two minutes but man what an intense two minutes.

Italy wins world cup.. neighbor behind me, italian, lighting off his rockets and the big heavy stuff. i guess he is quite excited. it was a very exciting game.
