The problem's certainly not going to go away by itself. But certainly China fears the repercussions that will create a way of refugees on its borders.

This is going to require a mult-lateral approach, with emphasis on urging China to pressure Pyongyang, even to the point of threatening them militarily (which they are unlikely to do)...

Either way.. the regime will eventually collapse and when it does, it's going to be ugly...
