Bushies lie to the public to get elected. They use smear campaigns of 100% BS, plus these issues wedge (which are mostly ridiculous) to hoodwink middleclass voters: - Gay marriage fear (though many rightwingers are gay and few liberals are for gay marriage) - Abortion (though Delay promoted forced abortions in Guam) - Liberals will take away your guns (no liberals are for that) - Liberals will take away your cars (pro gas guzzling while doubling the price of gasoline) - Fear terrorists! (though no one has helped terrorists more than Bush-Cheney) - Illegal immigrants (though Bush has always been pro illegal immigration) - Flag burning (corrupting the Constitution over something almost no one ever does and which is totally symbolic)
