Wrong. Global warming is accelerating wildly now far more dramatically than at any time in history. The world is hotter now than anytime in 2000 years.

Ice records from Antarctica can go back 55,000 years so they can graph the world's temperatures. The temps are going up much-much faster the higher the world's population and the more fossil fuels we burn. It's CO2 which is the problem. It traps the heat we create by all our burning in the atmosphere.

Bushies want to eliminate keeping track of CO2. Bushies are clearly in bed with the world's biggest polluters.

As a result of this global warming, we could have oceans 20 feet higher within your kids' lifetimes just from the breakup of already breaking-up icepacks at the poles. That would wipe out a huge portion of the world's liveable space. Species are already dying all over the planet. Storms, fires and floods are getting much worse. And diseases, pestilences and skin caneras are growing by leaps and bounds.

The US creates 30% of the world's man-made heat. We need to cut down dramatically. And this will actually create hundreds of thousands of new jobs if we do it right. There is no downside either, except that big oil and polluters will get more regulated becuse they have been such dishonest offenders, just like tobacco companies were 20 years ago. same difference.
