The unelected Mullahs in Iran disqualified many decent reasonable candidates for President they fully vetted the current terrorist President and preferred a terrorist as their President to any of the reasonable candidates they excluded. Anyone blaming the actions of the unelected mullahs on the US President has a unique view of events. That view is not even mainstream among leftwingers. It would belong on the fringe of the leftwing.
