Bushies stole all three of the last elections. They did so only in states where they could control the governor's office and the voting systems, but those states include Florida (the president's own brother in charge, duh) and Ohio (the most corrupt state GOP in the country, just look at all the horrendous scandals).

When you add to their outright cheating and theft of hundreds of thsouands of votes to the outrageous lies of their smears and negative ad campaigns you can understand them better. They are crooked, of course, but it comes out of fear. They know they are still the minority party. So they can only win by making it close with vicious negative ads and spinning, then by cheating.

If you read "Was the 2004 Election Stolen?" you'll see the graphs, facts and figures proving that in precincts where the GOP strongly controlled the local government approximately 10% of Kerry's votes vanished or were switched to Bush votes. In some predincts, in fact, there were 10% more votes than there were people who voted, so that's ballot box stuffing.

Bushies also waged a war against blacks and college students being able to vote. All kinds of drity tricks. Like in some black or college precincts in Ohio there were only 2 voting machines supplied for 100,000 or so people. While in GOP districts there were 50 voting machines supplised fopr the same amount of people. So no wait for the rightwing, but up to 8 hours to vote for democrats. On and on and on.

Any President elected in 2008 is in for a rough time. Bush 41 paid the price for the Reagan fiscal policies which almost tripled the national debt. Likewise, any Pres elected in 2008 will pay a similar price.
