I believe H. Allen Smith once said this country was going to hell in a handbasket or in current jargon "a Walmart shopping cart". It has taken his words a few years to come true. Our country is no longer people friendly unless you are the "right" kind of people. jon

"Walmart Comes To Small Town To Conquer, Residents Fight Back" Since I couldn't find that "headline" on the site you link, I have to assume that you did the usual and created it. I've looked at several websites relative to Ashland, VA and it doesn't appear that 5 years later, Ashland is any worse the wear and has somehow survived Walmart.
