"Fearlessly confronting the high priests of the Church of Liberalism and ringing with Coulter's razor-sharp wit, Godless is the most important and riveting book yet from one of today's most lively and impassioned conservative voices."

There is no doubt that Ms. Coulter is lively and impassioned, but I still believe she is far more interested in selling books than standing as a principled conservative. Her comments on many subjects are intentionally shocking (a.k.a., the "harpies" comment about the 9/11 widows, or her screed that we should invade Muslim countries and force their conversion to Christianity), but it seems to get the blood flowing for some of her readers. I would love to see her run for office and actually have to defend her statements and stand the test of the electorate, but it is so much easier to stand on the outside and throw eggs vs. the much tougher job of governing or diplomacy in the real world.

I note she is now defending charges that she "borrowed" without attribution some of her quotes. And she has a little problem down in Florida with voting in the wrong district..but, hey....it ALL sells books.

I still believe she will end up as a poster girl for the democrats in the fall. A ten second view of her with the quotes posted below and the question about whether this is the voice of compassionate conversatism could be effective with some swing voters. JMHO...I never have believed that vitriol whether from the left or right was an effective political tool with the 20% in the middle.

She is an interesting lady, no doubt.
