Given that the Republicans are willing to use the deceitful and unethical strategies of someone like Rove, the Democrats have a difficult row to hoe. Roves actions, and those of his followers within the Republican party, poison the pool of democracy.

I think the only way to defeat Rove is to expose him. If the Dems keep allowing him to frame the debate, and remain on the defensive, the Republicans will win despite the fact that the majority of Americans actually disagree with them on most issues.
