Interesting speculation.... I agree with you that the ticket could 'work' on a number of levels. Re: "will Mr. Romney being a Mormon cause a problem with some religious conservatives? I don't know..." On that I don't know either... but I will wager that the bunch-up of other candidates all trying to appeal to the 'religious conservative' part of the Party will likely reduce the potential of any of them 'catching fire' with the electorate.
